MEET THE CREATORS

Dan Robert and Lisha Brooks are LA based writer/actor/director/producers who hail from Northampton, Massachusetts, "where the coffee is strong and the women are stronger and the first hour of parking is always free." They wrote on both seasons of The Baby-sitter’s Club for Netflix, which won the 2022 Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Live Action Preschool or Children’s Program. Most recently they were co-producers on the forthcoming second installment of Nine Perfect Strangers for Hulu. They went to high school and then Emerson College together, where they studied theater. Their short films and award winning co-created web series, BEARDS, have played festivals like LA Shorts, Outfest, Frameline, The New Orleans Film Festival, and Brooklyn Women’s Film Festival, among others. They have multiple projects in development in film and TV.
